January 2015 Update

CSN members rang in the new year with a traditional levee-inspired celebration kindly hosted by longtime CSN members Charlene Morton and Daniel Vokey.  It was nice to get together with members for a social occasion to get to know each other better and get caught up on various projects and initiatives going on in the community.  We also paid homage to all those who work to create positive change in their communities or in their personal lives.  Despite the fact that CSN members are passionate about a large variety of issues and concerns, there was a good deal of consensus that we can be united in creating positive ripples of change for a cleaner planet and healthier communities... and that Charlene's home made rhubarb punch was second to none!

Many thanks to all who attended, and especially our hosts for opening up their home for this event.

Happy new year everyone!
