Join the Network!

The Community Sustainability Network is a free service open to any person or organization in the Bridgewater area (generally inclusive of Lunenburg County).  Signing on to the Network is easy, and only takes about 10 minutes. 

You Will Receive

  • Instant access to other people and organizations who are making a difference
  • Regular updates from our email newsletter and events postings
  • The ability to join the Network action teams and help make decisions
  • Your own profile page where you can tell others about your interests, ideas, and products
  • The ability to post information to our events, forums, and blogs
  • An opportunity to become known as a supporter of sustainability!

What you Need to Know

  • Please read the Sustainability Charter and Terms and Conditions
  • Once you complete the application form, we will respond to you within 2-3 days, and let you know as soon as your application is accepted.
  • Once you're registered, you will have total control over your own privacy settings
  • Once you're registered, you will be given access to a "members only" area where you can find more information about the Network, join one of the 3 "action teams", and manage your own settings including your password, profile page, privacy, and photo albums.

Join the Network!

Join as an Individual or Family  You can join the Network as yourself, or as representing your family.  

Join as a Business, Organization or Group  The network is open to the following:

  • Businesses
  • Non-profit organizations and community groups
  • Institutions and government agencies or departments
Important information for organizations & groups: you must have approval to join the network from a "Senior Leader" within the organization or group.  A leader can be a board member, executive staff, manager, owner, coordinator, etc.  You are required to submit the leader's name, title and contact information. The leader's information will not be visible to the public, but they will be contacted once to verify that they have given approval for the group or organization to join the network.  If you have any questions about what constitutes a "Senior Leader", please feel free to contact us.  In addition to the leader, you are required to provide the name and contact information of a Contact Person who will be the liaison with the Network.  The Senior Leader and the Contact Person can be the same person.

You can also download a copy of the Sustainability Charter, which includes a signing page for businesses and organizations that wish to have a signed paper copy.
