Consultation Session to Plan Nova Scotia’s Electricity Future

  • Thu, May 29, 2014
  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Days Inn, North Street, Bridgewater
Nova Scotia Power is currently involved in a process to help plan the future of electricity in Nova Scotia with a new Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). Customers and stakeholders will have different opportunities to participate in the process. The input Nova Scotia Power receives will help guide the decisions it makes in the coming years.

Here are some ways to participate:
  • Engage online via Nova Scotia Power’s new web space (TomorrowsPower.ca/irp) - where you can answer surveys, post comments and ask questions.
  • Participate in one of the upcoming public engagement sessions to discuss issues like cost, reliability, innovation and energy sources (see schedule below).
  • Invite an expert from Nova Scotia Power to visit your community to discuss topics related to the IRP or to broader issues that are of interest you.
Nova Scotia Power is hosting 7 public engagement consultations around the province, with this being the only session on the South Shore.  Please contact Melissa.Sanderson@nspower.ca or 428-6505 to find out how you can get involved, RSVP to the Bridgewater engagement session or help organize a meeting in your community with experts from Nova Scotia Power.
