Wayne Fowler, an experienced Earthship builder from New Brunswick, will be leading the workshop. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn the fundamentals of thermal mass and passive energy storage; and a chance to gain valuable hands-on experience of what it takes to build with rammed earth and used tires.

Registration will begin at 11am on Saturday, the 14th; and then we begin the course at 1pm and go until 6pm. After supper, we will show a screening of 'Garbage Warrior' around 7:30pm, and close the evening with an open Q&A session with the group. The course resumes Sunday at 9:30am, breaking for lunch at 12:30; and then one more round in the afternoon from 1-4. We will then have a wrap up discussion from 4-5pm.

*Note: A rain date will be set for the following weekend- July 21st and 22nd.

Cost: The cost for the workshop is $60 for TLC members; and $80 for non-members. (it costs $30 for a TLC membership).  For an extra $25, three delicious meals will be included: Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast/Lunch!
