Solar Energy Tour & Presentation

  • Mon, September 19, 2011
  • 7:30 PM - 8:15 PM
  • Bridgewater Town Hall (60 Pleasant St)
Since January, we have had a major change to our Town Hall: the tower now supports 15 solar hot water panels.  You may have also seen the large 30-panel solar installation on the Public Works Garage, and the 2-panel installation on the Police Station.  The systems are now mostly complete and generating real energy savings for the Town.

If you would like to find out more about these solar systems and how they work, you are invited to attend a brief “solar tour and presentation”.  It will take place at Town Hall on Monday, September 19th from 7:30 to 8:15PM.

Town staff will give you a virtual tour of all 3 systems, explain how they work, and demonstrate the energy and financial savings we have already been able to measure from them.  We will also introduce you to a website where real-time information on some of the systems is being constantly updated, including their savings.
